Notre Orphelinat: Au début des années 1970, l’Orphelinat n’était qu’un groupe de petites huttes faites de bambous, de feuilles de palmier et de tôles ondulées qui permettait de subvenir aux besoins les plus pressants de la population locale : abriter, nourrir et éduquer de très jeunes enfants sans abris et sans famille. Since opening in January 1996 until March the 31st 2010, the Camillian Social Center has touched the lives of 1670 people living with HIV/AIDS. Of this number 730 people have died due to complications related to HIV/AIDS and 940 have been given the opportunity to return to the community … (full text Projects).

• BaanGerda is a small community 230 km north of Bangkok, where 85 HIV infected and affected orphans live and receive medical treatment in family houses under the care of foster parents.

Helping HIV/AIDS Affected Orphans, the Poor, Underprivileged Women and Their Children
