About us: … 7 years ago CCI was active in three regions, working from three regional centres of our country: Tuzla, Banja Luka and Mostar.
Over the past years CCI has expanded the work to cover the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina, working from 6 offices (Tuzla, Mostar, Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Doboj, and Bihać). Besides being one of the most prominent non-governmental organisations in the area of public advocacy in BiH, CCI has been very active internationally, co-operating with many organisations from Central and South-eastern Europe (www.ceecn.net).
CCI works with groups of citizens, NGOs and individuals from the government and NGO sector with an aim to enhance the public awareness of the needs and ways of citizen participation in decision-making at all government levels.
CCI provides training services and other assistance to civic groups and NGOs with creating and running different level problem- solving campaigns.
In addition to our work with citizens, CCI has been working with the representatives from the executive and legislative authorities in order to initiate processes that would advance the existing legal regulative and practices and make the work of elected representatives more transparent and citizen oriented.
