The aim of the association is to defend the human rights of women and children, and to contribute to their development in the society. La Palabre prioritises education and training, and opposes every form of injustice, violence and racism. The association fight against all harmful traditional pratices, affecting the health of women and children, in particular female genital mutilation, child marriages, forces marriages and honour related violence.

- Service delivery for the prevention, sensiblisation, information and education regarding human rights and duties.
- Provision of quality training regarding health and basic education.
- Support and creation of centre for the provision of shelter, training, exchange, help and information.
- Organisation of educational, cultural, artistic and multicultural events.
