The International Association for the History of Religions (IAHR) is a worldwide body of national and regional associations for the academic study of religion, and is a member of the Conseil International de la Philosophie et des Sciences Humaines/ The International Council for Philosophy and Humanistic Studies (CIPSH) under the auspices of UNESCO. The IAHR was founded in 1950 on the occasion of the 7th international congress of the history of religions in Amsterdam. Program Pemberdayaan Perempuan Kepala Keluarga It is a reality that not less than 6 million households in Indonesia are headed by women-due to the death of their husband either natural or killed in the armed conflict, divorced, abandoned, permanent illness of the husband, and single status. More than a half of these households are among « the poorest of the poor ». The social cultural value tends to marginalize the women headed families and a major part of the development program has failed to reach this group. The majority of them are between 20 to 60 years old, illiterate and have never been to even an elementary school. They have 1-6 dependent, working as are farm laborers and in the informal sector with average income less than US$1 per day. Welcome to the Global Sisterhood Network via a domain which is a natural outgrowth of our many projects over the past decade

Founded in 1996, the Global Sisterhood Network largely consists of feminists from around the world who work hand-in-hand, irrespective of class, colour or creed, in a collaborative effort to create improved lives for women. GSN operates at several levels, but in the main as an information resource centre via the monitoring of media and institutional reports which seek emerging developments in agriculture, economics, employment, environment, health, law, militarism, politics, technology, trade and science, and which either directly and indirectly impact on the realities of women’s lives. IAEWP was founded in Alabama in 1967 by Dr. Charles Mercieca, a Maltese philosopher and educator.
