The Child Migration Research network (CMRN) has been established to help assess the impact of migration on children and youth.  The aim of the CMRN is to bring together researchers who look at how migration affects children and to highlight research work, especially that in grey literature or other hard to reach sources, that focuses on this area.

SCCR is a multi-disciplinary organization. Its members all share a common devotion to the conduct of cross-cultural research. SCCR members are professionals and students from the social science fields of Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, and related fields including Education, Family Studies, Social Work, Human Development, Psychiatry, Communications, Ethnic Studies, Business, etc.  A distinguishing characteristic of the Society, compared with other academic organizations, is that it is fundamentally inter-disciplinary and provides members the opportunity to network with scholars from a wide variety of approaches to cross-cultural and comparative research. Since its founding in 1971, SCCR has intentionally avoided growing too large, so that its members can know each other better, form lasting relationships, and provide genuine support to their fellow colleagues and students. Activities:  Training on Tailoring to Women (artisans): Trainings in tailoring will be offered to women artisans from the identified project villages. An initial training of 30 days would be followed by a refresher training of 30 days. Refresher training would be provided to improve the quality and more inputs would be provided to improve the quality of products.
