Why People Call:

People call our crisis counselors for many reasons. Some are looking for information on intimate partner violence to help a friend. Some need community resource information like counseling services. Some are referred by the police after their partner is arrested and need help or emergency shelter. Many are in crisis and have just been battered. The reasons are as numerous and individual as the people themselves.

  • Whatever your reason, please call. We are here to help.
  • You are not alone. No one deserves to be abused.

/Healthy Relationships:

You need and deserve at least a few people in your life with which you have healthy relationships, people whom:

  • Give you good advice when you want and ask for it, and who will work with you to figure out what to do next in difficult situations.
  • Allow you the space to change, grow, make decisions, and make mistakes.
  • Accept you as you.
