Purpose: Women’s issues. Aim/Objective/Mission: Positive Women Network (PWN+) is a self-help group of women living with HIV. We operate from our headquarters at Chennai, Tamilnadu, India. PWN+ was registered as an organisation in October 1998. An HIV positive diagnosis can bring forth a lot of emotions, shock, anxiety, grief, fear, uncertainty, anger, despair and more. It creates sense of urgency, a pressing need to make decision and changes. It can also bring on a need for support services and advocacy. Thus emerged a need for such a network to deal with complex situations arising in the lives of women living with HIV. OUR GOAL is to improve the quality of life of women and children living with HIV.

Bookmaking Class Reflection (on the RCEF blog): Developing and teaching a bookmaking class at Guan Ai School this past summer was an incredibly rewarding experience for me.
