About: The Sustainable Development division of Henley Media Group has been providing senior decision makers in the public, private and intergovernmental sectors with sustainable development and corporate social responsibility reference resources since 1998.

We recognise that companies in a global economy need to keep abreast of the international sustainable development agenda, and to communicate to governments, stakeholders, partners and shareholders how they are prioritising environmental, social and economic considerations through effective CSR practice. The Sustainable Development International publication and accompanying website, established a reputation as leading Business-to-Business and Business-to-Government print and online resources supporting the business case for sustainable development

In 2005 the Sustainable Development Division acquired International Aid + Trade – an international event, publication and website exploring humanitarian relief challenges and delivering relief solutions to aid agencies and governments across the world.  With many of today’s natural disasters being attributed to climate change, we began to increasingly consider the impact of business on global warming and to look at ways to mitigate this.

Through Aid + Trade, Sustainable Development International and our contract publishing division, Henley Media Group has worked with an extensive number of UN Agencies, NGOs, governments and multinational corporations. We have produced publications in association with a raft of organisations including the Commonwealth Secretariat, the Governments of Canada and South Africa, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, the WWF, the World Customs Organisation and the Global Reporting Initiative.

Henley Media Group is proud to be partnering with the United Nations Environment Programme to run Climate Action … (full text).
