About: Christian Foundation for the Blind – India is a Spiritual, Social, Charitable and non-profit Registered organisation offering its services to the Blind, Disabled and Destitute Men, Women and Children in India in meeting their Spiritual, Social, Educational and Rehabilitation needs.  

Constrained by the Love of Christ for the salvation of Souls of the 10 million visually challenged people in India. Rev. P C Alfred George and Mrs. Nireekshana George  founded this Association in April 1974. For the past 30 years the organisation has developed an extended services both socially and spiritually to help the visually and the physically challenged through its various projects.

The Ministry of the Association is built on the foundation of the Lord Jesus Christ. This building of faith is being raised by the prayerful support of Christians in India and other countries.

God has laid burden on our hearts to save the 10 million blind people in India, who grope in both physical and spiritual darkness. The Association has been instrument in saving hundreds of blind people for Christ through its programme of « Gospel to the Blind and Gospel through the Blind.
