In 2009, the Children’s Legal Centre (CLC) started a three year project in Tajikistan – the Girls’ Support Service – funded by Big Lottery Fund, the European Union and the Sigrid Rausing Trust.

The service, aimed at girls between the ages of 10 and 18 who have been, or who are at risk of being, sexually abused, trafficked or exploited, will be implemented in partnership with the Tajik Government’s National Committee for Women and Family Affairs and our local partner Child Rights Centre.
