Google permet de télécharger et d’imprimer certains livres en intégralité, voir actu livre au 30 aout 2006:

Le moteur de recherche sur internet Google permet depuis mercredi aux internautes de télécharger et d’imprimer dans leur intégralité certains livres dont les droits de protection ont expiré, a indiqué le groupe dans un communiqué.

« Découvrir Dante, Newton et Hugo est maintenant un peu plus facile. A partir d’aujourd’hui (mercredi), les lecteurs peuvent trouver des versions gratuites et téléchargeables de certains des plus grandes oeuvres mondiales sur Google Book Search », a indiqué Google.
