Database of the 3rd World Archive Centres Cooperation: The German Federal Solidarity and Third World Movement has had a long and eventful history, including several trials that document the various activities and issues of these movements. The generation of competences in the international and developmental field has had a huge influence on the political culture of the left. As a result of this movement, archives and documentation centres in different cities were created. These centres house documents that are now indispensable in solidarity oriented educational work and in development policies. In autumn 1998, eleven archives formed a network to make their work more efficient and better coordinated: it is called the Archiv³ Cooperation of Third World Archives. At present the following institutions are members of the Archiv³:

  • biz Bremen
  • 3WF Hannover
  • A3W Osnabrück
  • FDCL Berlin
  • AWH Hagen
  • IFAK Göttingen
  • EWNT Jena
  • Nicabüro Wuppertal
  • IPK Bonn
