The Staff: We believe diversity is the key; our facilitators range from teachers and musicians to corporate executives, all professionally trained, creating a staff dedicated to providing a safe environment together with a rewarding experience. Our instructors are educators, not guides. They are committed to inspiring participants to explore and develop their understanding of wilderness ethics, leadership, teamwork, natural history, and technical skills.

… The two main people behind The Borderland are Megh Ale and Wade Campbell. Megh Ale is the Managing Director of our Nepal operations and is one of Nepal’s leading figures in rafting. Having spent several years working and exploring the rivers and jungles of Nepal, including four years at the Royal Bardiya National Park as a naturalist, Megh is always ready to share his deep understanding of Nepal and its myriad of cultures, plants and animals.
