This website is dedicated to our beloved daughter/ sister/ friend and most cherished BetterWorld Hero, Emily Rachel Silverstein (1989-2009), Who was brutally murdered on April 9, 2009 by her ex-boyfriend. In her all too brief life, Emily did so many amazing things to try to make her wish for a more peaceful, just and sustainable world come true. Please don’t let our Emily be forgotten.
