Our Mission: « To enable individuals and society to move towards dignity of labour, entrepreneurial values and alleviating poverty of people at large through education, research & training and grassroot level of the change » 

Inception & Journey:

  • Aseed was born on 28th October 1989, however take off activities by early 1992 with launch of “Asian Entrepreneur” a journal on livelihood & small enterprise.
  • It started activities with its intermediary functions and advocacy, which included training of NGO trainers and facilitators for community mobilization & income generation, evaluation, monitoring & impact assessment studies, project planning & market information support, research publications and documentation support. It also made its presence felt in the international area through conferences, workshops and networking with other Development Organizations and Intercultural Studies.
  • The journey of ASEED is a story of paradigm shift from entrepreneurial advocacy process to community economic activation program towards raising standards of living of the poor and youth. Our celebrations of a decade journey in late 1999 were witnessed by Mohd.Yunus, Chairman, Grameen Bank, Bangladesh., along with of the dignitaries.
