About: Staff:
- Bill Anderson (Director): Bill is from South Africa. Between 1977 and 1990 he worked as an Intelligence Analyst for the African National Congress in London and Lusaka. Since 1990 he has lived in London and worked in the software industry as a database developer and the author of electronic data interchange (EDI) software. He has been developing the AfDevInfo project since August 2004.
- Henry Kippin (Director of Research): Henry is from the UK and has a PhD from the University of Sheffield. He has broad research experience in East Africa, and has taught development studies and African politics.
- Vanessa Nannan (Administrator): Vanessa was born in South Africa and grew up in London. During the 1980s she worked for the African National Congress in various Southern African countries. She completed a degree in Computer Science in 1993 and has worked in IT ever since.
- Gary St Denis (Database Consultant & Developer): Gary has over 25 years IT experience in various technical and managerial roles. He worked for various companies within the Reed-Elsevier publishing group for 17 years, mainly in database publishing. He has been developing applications using Revelation Software products, including OpenInsight, for 15 years.
- Danaa Nantogmah (Senior Researcher): Danaa is from Ghana and is completing his PhD in Urban Regeneration and Local Economic Development at Middlesex University. He has an MSc in Development and Project Planning from the University of Bradford and has worked for six years as District Development Planner in Ghana.
- Alimou Bah (Researcher): Alimou is from Cote d’Ivoire where he graduated as an Agro-Economist Engineer at the National Polytechnic Institute of Yamoussoukro. He completed a postgraduate diploma in Economics at the School of Oriental and African Studies in 2007 and is now enrolled for an MSc in Finance & Development. He has worked as a consultant in project analysis for an Abidjan-based international NGO specialised in training and development.
- Nathanael Jarrett (Researcher): Nathanael is from the UK and is studying for an MA in Conflict, Security and Development at King’s College London. He has worked in humanitarian logistics in Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Kenya and Somalia.
- Lusa Nsenga Ngoy (Researcher): Lusa is from the Democratic Republic of Congo and is an ordained minister and a consultant for a number of church organizations. He has a graduate diploma in European Business from Christ Church University in Canterbury, an MTh from FUTP in Brussels and an MA in Christian Ethics from King’s College London. He has worked in Belgium, DR Congo, Kenya, and the UK.
- Nyambura Wambugu (Researcher): Nyambura is from Kenya and has an MA in Economic and Governmental Reforms at the University of Westminister. She has a Bsc in Mass Communications and Politics from London Metropolitan University and has worked in Sudan, Uganda, Sierra Leone and Liberia.
