Our mission: Build Africa works exclusively in rural areas of Uganda and Kenya to help young people escape poverty through education and income generation.
What we do: In education we work within local development plans to:

• Help build the capacity of schools, communities and local government staff to work together to improve data collection, planning, monitoring and evaluation at school level, resulting in a ‘school development plan’;
• Provide training and mentoring of school management committees for better school governance;
• Carry out teacher training; and

DCAF is an international foundation established in 2000 on the initiative of the Swiss Confederation, as the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces DCAF contributes to enhancing security sector governance  SSG (see Google search for SSG) through security sector reform SSR … (about 1/2 /who we are).
