Join us 2/2: … It is now possible for schools and teachers to get training in philosophy for children teaching in New Zealand.
P4CNZ can provide teacher education recognised by the Federation of Australasian Philosophy for Children Associations and conducted by trainers with certification from that organisation. However, as of 2006, only one fully qualified P4C teacher educator is active in New Zealand.

- Professional development programmes for teachers
- Organisation of conferences and workshops
- Monthly community of inquiry for interested adults (when numbers permit)
- Research and development of materials for philosophy for children
- Liaison with other organisations in Australia and overseas
- Quarterly newsletter for members of the association
P4CNZ also maintains a lending library of P4C materials, available to members only. The library list can be found on the « Resources » page.
