The aim of the association is to defend the human rights of women and children, and to contribute to their development in the society. La Palabre prioritises education and training, and opposes every form of injustice, violence and racism. The association fight against all harmful traditional pratices, affecting the health of women and children, in particular female genital mutilation, child marriages, forces marriages and honour related violence.

This website has one URL for the Frontpage,

and three URLs for presentations in english, in french (under construction) and in netherlands, respectively their internal sites as: Mission, Projects, Members, Links, Contact – with an Address in Belgium and one Senegal.

• Vluchtelingen-Organisaties Nederland (VON) is de spreekbuis van vluchtelingen in Nederland. Een landelijke koepelorganisatie met in Nederland ruim 400 vluchtelingenorganisaties die hun krachten in VON hebben gebundeld. Wij behartigen de belangen van hen die wegens gegronde vrees voor vervolging hun eigen land moesten verlaten en naar Nederland zijn gevlucht om hier veiligheid en bescherming te vinden. Vanuit internationale verdragen heeft Nederland de plicht dit hen te bieden.
