The NGO Management Association an independent non-profit association registered as NGO in Switzerland (reg. no. CH-550-1055048-2) and based in the Geneva area. It was set up in 2001 by a group of professionals working in the humanitarian sector in Geneva, Switzerland. The starting point of this volunteer association was to help NGOs improving their management capacity and performance by making available free management tools and key articles on NGO management. Headquartered in Washington, DC, ThinkImpact is a global social enterprise that provides university students and young professionals the Innovation Institute, America’s premier immersion program in rural Africa that trains the next generation of social entrepreneurs.
The Innovation Institute is a curriculum based summer immersion program lasting 10 weeks (June through August), and offered on a competitive basis to select scholars from across the United States. committed to stopping the Tory cuts

• This blog orginally aimed to provide updates on sociological research  relevant to A level (16-19) sociology students. However, it’s morphing into a forum for expressing my leftist views on a range of contemporary events.
• Even if this is the case, many entries still covers issues, concepts and theories relevant to A level sociology. Also, even with the political content, a lot of posts are still  ‘pure updates’ on contemporary research … (about 1/2).
