SEPHIS: South-South Exchange Programme for Research on the History of Development

in six languages

Sephis, the South-South Exchange Programme for Research on the History of Development, was established in 1994. The programme encourages researchers located in the South to establish links with their colleagues in other parts of the South. This growing South-South network is concerned with research on the history of development. Prime objectives of the Sephis programme are supporting dialogues between researchers from the South with their various visions of development and history, encouraging comparative research, and strengthening Southern-based research capacity. Sephis is largely funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Development Cooperation but also increasingly receives funding from other organizations … (about 1/2).

INTEGRA – Deutsches Netzwerk zur Überwindung weiblicher Genitalverstümmelung

  • Das Netzwerk führt den Namen „INTEGRA – Deutsches Netzwerk zur Überwindung weiblicher Genitalverstümmelung“.
  • Das Netzwerk wurde auf Initiative der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) GmbH im Jahr 2000 ins Leben gerufen und hat sich 2005 den Namen INTEGRA gegeben.
  • Sitz und Sprecherschaft übernimmt rotierend jeweils eine Mitglieds-Organisation für die Dauer von zwei Jahren. Die erste Amtsperiode der Sprecherschaft beginnt am 1. Januar 2007. Bei Verhinderung wird sie von einer stellvertretenden Sprecherschaft vertreten, die ab 01. Januar 2008 für jeweils 2 Jahre zuständig ist … (Startseite 1/2).
