TNVHA is a non-profit, secular, registered Association of Voluntary Organisations working for health promotion in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. It was registered under Tamilnadu Society’s Registration Act in 1971. In its 38 years of service, the number of member institutions has grown to 744 which include Hospitals, Dispensaries and Community-based Organisations … (about 1/2).

Catholic Health Association of India CHAI

The Catholic Health Association of India (CHAI), one of the world’s largest non-governmental organization in the health sector with nearly 3,279 member institutions, which include big, medium and small hospitals, health centres and diocesan social service societies was established in 1943. The members of the association are located in various parts of the country – urban, semi-urban, rural and tribal settlements and are predominantly engaged in providing curative care extending health care facilitates to the poor and marginalized.
