Welcome to the Global Transformations Website, which serves to support and extend the resources of those who use the Global Transformations books series. The series comprises four books:

  • Global Transformations, which is a path-breaking volume on the changing nature and shape of globalization over time.
  • The Global Transformations Reader, which offers a comprehensive set of texts on the great globalization debate – texts which are representative of all the major points of view and research traditions on this topic.
  • Governing Globalization, which explores how globalization is governed, the problems of governance and what can be done about these.
  • Globalization Theory, which aims to extend our understanding of how globalization can best be examined and explained.

International Committee for the Peace Council

The Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace

The Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace is a British based charity (charity no.1048990) created by the parents of 12 year old Tim Parry and supported by the parents of 3 year old Johnathan Ball. Both Tim and Johnathan were tragically killed as a direct result of the IRA’s 1993 bombing of Warrington (a town in the North West of England) as part of its political agenda to force Britain to withdraw from Northern Ireland . The Foundation receives support from many political figures and our Patrons include the Duchess of Kent and Sir John Major KGCH … (Who we are).

Kreddha—the International Peace Council for States, Peoples and Minorities—is a non-profit organisation guided by a council of eminent persons from all parts of the world, dedicated to the prevention and sustainable resolution of (violent) conflicts between population groups and the government of states within which they live.
