Africa Fighting Malaria is a non-profit health advocacy group founded in 2000 and based in South Africa and the United States.  Our mission is to make malaria control more transparent, responsive and effective.  We conduct research into the social and economic aspects of malaria and raise the profile of the disease and the issues surrounding its control in the local and international media.  AFM strives to hold public institutions accountable for funding and implementing effective, integrated and country-driven malaria control policies and to promote successful private sector initiatives to control the disease … (full text Mission).

As members of the AfCoP, we strive to make our organizations more effective and accountable to ensure that they improve the lives of our fellow citizens. We are a bilingual virtual community of over 1,100 members from 87 countries, 40 of which are African. We work for African governments, civil society, and as independent results experts in the field. Our mission is to build African capacity to manage for development results through sharing experiences, networking and building strong learning relationships between practitioners in Africa and around the world. L’Observatoire français des think tanks (OFTT) est né officiellement en mai 2006. Il s’agit d’une association loi 1901 à but non lucratif dont les membres sont bénévoles. Il est actuellement majoritairement composé de jeunes diplômés de grandes écoles, d’universitaires, de professionnels exerçant aussi bien dans la sphère publique que privée.
