• To mark the July 4th holiday, CIEL proudly joins the Declaration of Independence from Toxic Chemicals and the national campaign for Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families, a collaborative effort for a new U.S. federal policy that protects people and the environment.

What is La Via Campesina 2/2: … How was La Vía Campesina created? In May of 1993, the First Conference of La Via Campesina was held in Mons, Belgium, where it was constituted as a world organization, and its first strategic guidelines and structure were defined.
