About /how we work: Play for Peace seeks to prevent violence in conflict-torn areas by teaching people to live together, play together, and work together. The Donor Committee for Enterprise Development DCED

The Committee promotes enterprise development particularly for small enterprises, in developing countries. It provides a forum, in which member agencies can exchange information about their programmes, and the lessons learned through those programmes. Building on experience, the Committee publishes common guidelines for member agencies. (Homepage).

About: The Donor Committee for Enterprise Development is a gathering of many of the funding and inter-governmental agencies working for sustainable poverty alleviation through development of « the private sector » – the businesses, small and large, that provide the bulk of employment and prosperity worldwide. It was established informally in 1979, when its first members met at a meeting convened by the World Bank. Human Rights without Frontiers HRWF

In 1989, a number of human rights defenders founded an NGO called Bruxelles-Droits de l’Homme/ Brussels- Human Rights/ Brüssel Menschenrechte”, later re-named to Droits de l’homme sans frontières. The organization has gradually expanded into Human Rights Without Frontiers International (2001) to embrace its branch offices in Belgium, China, USA, and Nepal as well as its associate members in Armenia (Pro-Democracy Association), Bulgaria (Tolerance Foundation), Georgia (Human Rights Information and Documentation Centre), Iraq (Assyrian Aid Society), and Japan (Life Funds for North Korean Refugees), Russia, and South Korea. Since 1997, the Belgian branch of HRWF Int. has been an associate member of the International Helsinki Federation for Human Rights … (about 1/2).
