About 2/2: … According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, 38 million people in our nation – 13.9 million of them children – live in households that suffer from hunger or live on the edge of hunger. This hunger and “food insecurity” are far too widespread in our wealthy society. Hunger in the United States is a problem that can be cured.

About /Mission: The terrorist attacks of September 11 marked the beginning of a new and frightening period in our history. Thousands of people died that day, and their families along with the country as a whole are still struggling to recover. The organisation holds ‘special’ Consultative status with United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)

Interfaith International is a non-governmental association of individuals. Its purpose is to provide a space to its members and associates to promote the rights of persons of all different religions and ethnic groups. It was created in 1993 at the ‘World Conference on Human Rights’ sponsored by the United Nations in Vienna, Austria … (about 1/2).
