International Association of Educators for World Peace IAEWP

Canadian NGO dedicated to United Nations’ Goal of Peace Education, Environmental Protection, Human Rights and Disarmament

IAEWP was founded in Alabama in 1967 by Dr. Charles Mercieca, a Maltese philosopher and educator. The international organisation is now represented in over 100 countries, with consultative status at many United Nations agencies and since 1987 is a designated Peace Messenger of the United Nations. IAEWP is headquartered in Huntsville Alabama and publishes the UN News via IAEWP Korea.
