The Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (RWI) is an independent academic institution established in 1984. The mission of the Institute is to promote universal respect for human rights and humanitarian law by means of research, academic education, dissemination and institutional development. The vision of the Institute is to be a centre of excellence meeting the highest international standards in all its fields of operation.

The Raoul Wallenberg Institute Library is being sponsored by the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Söderberg Foundations (named in RATOS 2008).

About 2/2: DFN supports classically liberal ideas in both the economic and the political realm. We seek to eliminate human rights violations through the implementation of the principles of freedom; robust property rights, free markets, rule of law, and legitimate democracy. We use foundational texts as well as report on current events to explain and promote the basic principles of freedom and underscore how modern situations relate to core philosophies of freedom. We attempt to spread our message, in a variety of languages when relevant and possible, through individuals, organizations, and media, regardless of viewpoint.
