Communication and Information: AHRC publishes a monthly magazine, Human Rights SOLIDARITY, which reaches over 3,000 individuals and organizations mainly in Asia but also in other parts of the world. Carrying informative as well as reflective and analytical articles on various forms of human rights violations, the magazine strives to create solidarity and strengthen resolve among human rights advocates. Americans Who Tell the Truth.org

The Travelling Exhibit: « Americans Who Tell the Truth » is a non-partisan series of portraits by Brooksville (Maine) artist Rob Shetterly. His portraits of past and current Americans form a travelling exhibit(s) that is hosted by schools, universities, churches, and various community groups around the country.

With this remarkable collection of portraits, Rob intends to remind people of the dignity, courage and importance of some of America’s truth tellers and, whether or not you agree with a particular subject’s point of view, to create dialogue that will help each of us figure out which truths we value most as citizens in a democracy. Introduction: This is the WWW site of the thematic Working Group (WG) dealing with Scientific Information, within the framework of the Civil Society contribution to the World Summit On the Information Society (WSIS) organized by the United Nations. Some practical explanations are given. The WSIS process is not easy to grasp unless you have been at the PrepComs of Phase I, or you are a seasoned UN diplomat. The various Civil Society WGs are presented as well as this specific SI WG … // … It is not always easy to find information in the WSIS sites. Therefore some links are provided for documentation purpose. A list of links to a few advocacy groups is also provided. The WCSC‘s mission broadly divides into four areas:

  • Archival, encompassing the collection and preservation of case records of war crimes trials;
  • Training and Monitoring through judicial training and observing and reporting on trials;
  • Education, focusing on internships, conferences, publications, promoting doctoral and post-doctoral research, and collaborative and exchange programs;
  • Collaboration with and support of tribunals.
