This is a professional networking site to encourage interaction between individuals & organizations worldwide involved in development, peace, conflict resolution and related fields. Members are encouraged to dialogue and share resources.

Here are some suggestions for how to best use the site:

– Once you have registered please create your profile for the site. The more information you provide the easier it will be for you to network and connect with others. For example if you want to find people to collaborate for projects/research, you can try searching by country/language or other key words.
2) Suggest Resources – We will try to add key resources such as publications, teaching materials, videos, curricula, pictures, books, etc.
3) Contribute or start a blog/discussion – You can add to a current discussion and/or start your own blog.
4) New Ideas – Feel free to suggest new ideas for how to improve this site.

Wir leben in einer Zeit der Ungleichzeitigkeit: Während wir technologisch im 21. Jahrhundert stehen, sind unsere Weltbilder mehrheitlich noch von Jahrtausende alten Legenden geprägt. Diese Kombination von höchstem technischen Know-how und naivstem Kinderglauben könnte auf Dauer fatale Konsequenzen für unsere Spezies haben. Wir verhalten uns wie Fünfjährige, denen die Verantwortung über einen Jumbojet übertragen wurde.

Die Giordano Bruno Stiftung (Stiftung zur Förderung des evolutionären Humanismus) sammelt neuste Erkenntnisse der Geistes-, Sozial- und Naturwissenschaften, um ihre Bedeutung für das humanistische Anliegen eines « friedlichen und gleichberechtigten Zusammenlebens der Menschen im Diesseits » herauszuarbeiten. Ziel der Stiftung ist es, die Grundzüge eines naturalistischen Weltbildes sowie einer säkularen, evolutionär-humanistischen Ethik/Politik zu entwickeln und einer interessierten Öffentlichkeit zugänglich zu machen. about: The word African means that the church was organized by people of African descent and heritage. It does not mean that the church was founded in Africa, or that it was for persons of African descent only.

The church’s roots are of the family of Methodist churches. Methodism provides an orderly system of rules and regulations and places emphasis on a plain and simple gospel.

Episcopal refers to the form of government under which the church operates. The chief executive and administrative officers of the African Methodist Episcopal denomination are the Bishops of the church.

Une association sans but lucratif, créée en 1981, qui s’adresse aux femmes et à leur famille. Reconnue d’utilité publique, subventionnée, elle est cogérée par les 11 membres de son équipe. Depuis quelques années, F-information s’est dotée d’une charte.

Notre mission: informer, écouter, soutenir les femmes dans une démarche de reprise de confiance. Organiser et animer des groupes pour le partage d’expérience de vie et le tissage de liens sociaux. Regrouper la documentation dans tous les domaines concernant les femmes. Développer le travail en réseau avec le tissu associatif genevois.

Nos buts: Contribuer à l’égalité entre hommes et femmes en favorisant la réflexion et le changement des mentalités, l’autonomie des femmes en les aidant à faire des choix, et la construction d’une société solidaire. Dans notre quotidien, nous nous attachons à promouvoir les valeurs de respect, de tolérance et d’engagement. (Voir plus).
