Objectives Regional Level: Femmes Africa Solidarité (FAS) is at the forefront of the advocacy campaign to get women involved in the decision-making structures of the African Union AU. FAS advocates for the adoption of the « parity principle », or gender equality. Its activities have resulted in gender parity in the AU Commission and the adoption of the Protocol to the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights on the Rights of Women in Africa in 2003 and of the Solemn Declaration on Gender Equality in Africa in 2004.

The Association for Protection of the Rights of the Refugees from Abkhazia APRRA is a Non-Governmental, Non-profit organization. The Association was founded in October, 1998 in Tbilisi (Capital of the Republic of Georgia) as the International Association « Caucasus: Ethnic Relations, Human Rights, Geopolitics » (IACERHRG). On 13th November, 2004 at the 6th Annual Conference of IACERHRG a decision was made rename the Association and, also, to change its priorities.

The main aims and goals of APRRA are:

• 1. Permanent monitoring of the Rights of the Refugees from Abkhazeti (Abkhazia);
• 2. Organisation of the humanitarian actions for the Refugees from Abkhazia;
• 3. Participation in the events on the problems of Abkhazia, rezolution of the Abkhazian-Georgian conflict and restoration of territorial integrity of the Republic of Georgia;
• 4. Co-operation with the NGOs, Office of the Public Defender of Georgia and the legal Government of Abkhazia in exile;

History: The Ozaki Yukio Memorial Foundation is a private nonprofit organization based in Tokyo. It was established on 10 December 1956 and was formerly approved by the Ministry of Education, Science, Sports and Culture the following year. On 25 February 1960, the Ozaki Memorial Hall and Clock Tower, built in front of the Diet with donations from all over Japan and around the world, were presented to the House of Representative. New York, NY May 21, 2007 – At United Nations Headquarters, the Indigenous ICT Task Force (IITF) successfully launched a unique internet portal about Indigenous Peoples, for Indigenous Peoples and by Indigenous Peoples during the 6th Session of the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues.

This new and exciting portal web site will serve Indigenous communities around the world by operating in four basic languages: English, Spanish, French and Russian.

La Radio Isanganiro ou  » Point de rencontre « , est une radio créée à Bujumbura, capitale du BURUNDI sous l’initiative de l’association Ijambo, une association composée essentiellement de journalistes travaillant dans le domaine de la résolution des conflits par la radio.

Radio Isanganiro a commencé à émettre en Modulation de Fréquence le 18 novembre 2002. La Radio Isanganiro emploie six émetteurs disséminés à travers tout le pays, ce qui lui permet d’arroser tout le territoire national, presque tout le territoire rwandais, l’est de la République du Congo et l’ouest de la Tanzanie, où sont concentrés les camps de réfugiés burundais. La radio est aussi disponible sur Internet sur isanganiro.org. Tout le travail de la radio est numérisé, de la récolte de l’information à la diffusion, en passant par le traitement.
