In the House of Commons, Early Day Motions addressed \u2018public\u2019, \u2019social\u2019 or \u2018green\u2019 credit.\u00a0 <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>One of the Forum\u2019s off-springs is the Global Table hosted every Wednesday at Friends House by retired Canon Peter Challen.<\/p>\n<p>At the House of Lords, the last meeting was addressed by Aubrey Meyer on the links between the \u2018money fuse\u2019 and the \u2018climate bomb\u2019 in September 2005.<\/p>\n<p>At St. James\u2019s Piccadilly, Aubrey gave his moving audio-visual presentation to the audience that had come to hear Nobel Peace prize winner Dr. Muhammad Yunus on \u201cCreating a World without Poverty \u2013 Social Business and the Future of Capitalism\u201d on February 16th, 2008.<\/p>\n<p>This blog will accompany news and events that relate to the spirit of Forum meetings: addressing problems and focussing on solutions \u2013 preferably those we can achieve ourselves and with each other \u2013 for, as Dr. Yunus says in the first chapter of his book: institutions have failed us and are notoriously slow and inefficient.
