The International Alliance in Support of Workers’ in Iran (IASWI) was formed in January 2000, with labour endorsements, particularly from Canadian labour movement, to launch and organize collaborative international solidarity campaigns in support of workers’ rights and struggles in Iran. What are our Objectives?: The lack of free and independent labour organizations, and the lack of the right to strike in Iran, have created great obstacles for workers in their struggles for the realization of their rights and demands. The working class in Iran needs the international support of the workers and their organizations in other parts of the world in its struggle. <\/p>\n
