Man Up Campaign

Violence against women is not just a women’s issue, it’s everyone’s issue – Man Up is a global campaign to activate youth to stop violence against women and girls – Linked with The Uncomfortable Silence.

  • Man Up is a global campaign, launched in September of 2009, to activate youth to stop violence against women and girls. Our call to action challenges each of us to “man up” and declare that violence against women and girls must end.

Combating the spread of strategic weapons has been at the very top of President Clinton’s and President Bush’s list of foreign policy objectives. Iraq’s and North Korea’s development of long-range missiles, and nuclear, chemical and biological weapons has reinforced the gravity of this issue. Yet, for so important a topic, America’s fight against strategic weapons proliferation has generally been ineffective.
